The smartphone features that drive purchase choices

In today's era getting a mobile phone is a symbol of status and trend especially when the world is moving at a fast paced technological development from 1G to 5G Networks. Among different age groups people have different choices and preferences when they go out in market to purchase the product.

They were analog cell phones and were introduced in 1980. Then came the 2G era where we saw development of text messages and MMS being popular this gave all of us the platform not just to talk but to be able to communicate in written format which was more clear and concise form of communication. During 3G the world saw CDMA and GSMs advancing and 3G technologies enable network operators to offer users a wider range of more advanced services while achieving greater network capacity through improved spectral efficiency. Services include wide area wireless voice telephony, video calls, and broadband wireless data, mobile television, GPS (global positioning system) and video conferencing. all in a mobile environment.

Our 4th Generation saw the inter-operability between different networks and high speed  internet and data transfers while we are lucky to be able to witness the evolution that took place and here we are in 5th Generation where we are able to communicate with every device at a lightning speed which for now looks faster than ever 10X at least faster than  older standards — lower latency, and greater network capacity.

While world is progressing we are seeing we are more developed as the days pass by. Our choices keep varying and we keep evolving. Therefore, we decide on what we want to purchase. The first and foremost thing is

1. Price

For every product price plays an important role and every customer is price conscious. if we get all the best of the worlds at lowest prices possible why would anybody not go for it. The lower the price with best features possible anybody would be ready to purchase it.

2. Product Features

Product features like the usage matters. What is useful for one person may or may not be useful for other. Like for a student video apps is important feature as he is still learning while for working professional it may not be so. They may be looking for video app for entertainment which they may or may not use quiet often.

3. Relative Advantage

Every product has its relative advantage over competition products and therefore it has to beat the other one in order to grab the market. With so much competition in the market each brand is at par with each other and therefore there is not much of a difference when it comes to any product. The features of the products are more or less same and does not vary much.

4. Convenience

Convenience is an important factor as different people have different comfort levels when it comes to usage of the products while some may be used to androids others would prefer apple IOS. The ecosystem provided by both of them is user friendly. While some may find androids easy to use others may find latter.

5. Compatibility

Compatibility like convenience plays major role when it comes to usage of the product. Customers that are used to android version of working would never prefer iphone's ecosystem and vice versa. Also many sites and apps at times are not compatible with phones like the old generation phones and tablets did not support youtube videos also whereas the current models do support them which means it is so important that the phone should be compatible to the apps and sites which end users are looking for.
